The first series arrive with the app

Comics made for the phone.

Stories is the comics shelf inside Ibile Hub. Scroll or page-turn, light on data, free to start, and on the same wallet as the games, so what you earn at the board can open the next chapter.

The look of it

Big panels. Bold lettering.
Built for a small screen.

Every chapter is made to read well on a phone, from a night sky that fills the screen to a speech bubble you can read at arm’s length. These panels show the house style. They aren’t a series.

Unlocking

You’re never stuck
at a locked door.

Every chapter shows how it opens and what it costs before you commit, and if you’re a few Coins short we’ll offer to top up and unlock in one step.

Five ways a chapter opens

  1. 1
    Start free

The first chapters of every series cost nothing, and chapter one opens in any browser.

  2. 2
    Wait, or skip the wait

Read one free chapter after each wait. In a hurry? Coins skip it.

  3. 3
    Spend what you’ve earned

Cowries from your games open the back catalogue. Play, then read.

  4. 4
    Own a whole season

One price, yours for good, and cheaper than going chapter by chapter.

  5. 5
    Hunt the secrets

Some chapters are hidden until you solve a puzzle or spot a clue. A few clues live inside games.

Anything you pay for is fixed and shown before you buy. Anything left to chance is free.

Sealed & secret

A little mystery,
honestly told.

Stories has chapters you have to find. The rule behind them is simple: anything you pay for is fixed and shown first, and anything left to chance is free.

Sealed chapters

A “?” with a hint. Behind it is one fixed chapter, the same for every reader, and the listing says so before you unlock it with Coins, Cowries or Season Pass progress. You get exactly what is listed.

Secret chapters

Hidden until you find them. Solve a puzzle, spot a clue in the art, or reach a reading milestone. We check your answer for you, and the first solvers earn a badge. A few clues are tucked inside games.

The reader

Everything a reader needs.
Nothing it doesn’t.

  • Scroll or page-turn

Read the way you like, with tap zones that stay out of the way.

  • Low-data by default

Small images and no wasted downloads, built for patchy networks and prepaid data.

  • Read offline

Download the chapters you own on Wi-Fi and read them anywhere.

  • Phone to web and back

Your place is saved panel by panel, so you can carry on in the browser.

  • Follow a series

Get told when a new chapter is out. Quiet hours are on by default.

  • React to a chapter

Say what you thought with a fixed set of reactions. No comment threads at launch.

  • Age ratings you can see

Every series carries a rating, and some content stays hidden unless you opt in.

  • One wallet

The Coins and Cowries you use in games open chapters too.

On the web

Read it in a browser.
No download needed.

Chapter one of every series opens in any browser, and pages share with a proper preview in WhatsApp and on social. Games are played in the Android and iOS apps.

  1. 1
    Open a chapter link

Free chapters open straight away. Locked ones ask you to sign in.

  2. 2
    Sign in with a code

We email you a six-digit code. There’s no password, and it’s the same account as the app.

  3. 3
    Unlock in one checkout

Short on Coins? Top up and unlock together. If the unlock can’t complete, your Coins stay in your wallet and we tell you why.

Games and Stories

Play a round.
Read a chapter.

One streak counts for both. Missions mix the two, like winning a Whot match and reading a chapter. The Season Pass fills from playing and reading alike, and some clues in the comics are hidden inside the games.

We work with comic studios, writers and artists, under licence and paid directly in naira, never out of a reader’s wallet. Tell us about your series.

Be there for chapter one.
